Hi! I’m Britnie
— a wife, mom, and artist whose life has been shaped by family, creativity, and faith. Since marrying my husband in 1998, I’ve cherished the journey of building a family, raising our two boys and helping bring a few family businesses to life. Each experience has taught me the value of perseverance, imagination, and grace — qualities that continue to guide me both in art and in life.
A few years ago, I felt a gentle nudge to return to school and fully embrace my passion for art — a dream that had been waiting patiently in the background. That decision kindled my creative spirit and reminded me how fulfilling it is to follow the calling I felt from deep within myself.
When I’m not painting or designing, you’ll likely find me working on our other businesses or cozied up with a cuppa tea, a good audiobook playing, and a jigsaw puzzle spread out before me; one of my favorite ways to unwind — a quiet space where I can reflect, reset, and find peace, piece by piece.

The Inspiration...
While studying art, one of my teachers introduced me to the tradition of Tibetan sand mandalas — and I was instantly captivated. Their beauty, intricacy, and deep spiritual meaning spoke to something within me. I connected with the meditative nature of creating mandalas and the way they serve as a bridge between creativity and the Divine.
I wasn’t sure yet how I wanted to share my art with the world, but I knew I loved creating useable art — art that invites interaction and brings beauty into everyday moments. One of my favorite seasons as an artist was designing and painting scenery for our local youth theatre. I loved that my art was meant to be seen, used, and then taken down (and usually destroyed!) — a reminder that creation and renewal often go hand in hand.
One day, while reflecting on my love for puzzles, I wondered, “What would it be like to create my own puzzle?” In that moment, everything came together — the practice of mandalas, my art, my faith, and my purpose. It became clear that I could create useable art that inspires mindfulness, connection, and gratitude — art that is assembled, enjoyed, and then lovingly taken apart to make room for new creation.
And so, the Mandala Puzzle Company was born.

Our vision is to craft useable art that inspires stillness, reflection, and beauty in the hearts and homes of those who piece them together. Through every design, we hope to spark moments of peace and connection — reminders that creativity, like life, is a journey of assembling and letting go, over and over again.
